This sculpture was an exercise in pure fun. I obviously love sculpting faces, especially as they age, wrinkle and droop. Combining aging faces with skinny bird legs and a perky tail seemed like an amusing combination. With no background landscape or architectural borders, the focus goes directly to her ever growing nose. Nature and gravity are in control, might as well enjoy the ride.
